We designed the Backwoods Mercedes Sprinter (2014-2018) DEF Tank Skid Plate to protect your Sprinter's plastic DEF (diesel exhaust fluid) tank from the abuse of the road or trail. If your Sprinter DEF tank is punctured by rocks, sticks, or other debris, the fluid will leak out and the van will enter limp mode.

Made from 1/4" thick 5052 aluminum, the Sprinter DEF skid plate attaches to the bottom passenger side of front bumper for the 2014-18 Mercedes Sprinter. It is CAD designed, laser cut, and CNC formed. It's finished in the same black textured powder coat as our bumpers.
