The Planar portable heater kit includes:

• The Planar 4D heater, which can run on diesel or kerosene
• 1.8 gal (7 liter) fuel tank, attached to case
• Your choice of 5 or 10 ft of heating ducting
• Wiring harness for 12V power connection
• Wiring connection for thermostat.

The Planar 4D works fine at high altitude as well, it automatically adjusts for operation at high altitude. It has been formally tested at altitudes up to 8200 feet. This portable Planar 4D air heater kit can heat your van, your cabin, your rooftop tent or camping tent, or many other spaces.

Note: This diesel-powered air heater can operate from low to high temperatures. However, like any diesel heater, you should periodically ensure you are running the heater at the highest temperature (every 12 hours of run-time, approximately) to burn off the soot created by low-temperature use. If you do not do this, you will get thick white exhaust smoke from the soot buildup inside the combustion chamber.
