Propane Regulator, Two-Stage (MEGR-295)

The Marshall Excelsior MEGR-295 Propane Regulator is a two-stage propane tank regulator designed for underbody-mounted RV propane tanks, like Manchester tanks.

LP gas regulators reduce the pressure of LP gas vapor from tank pressure to desired appliance pressure. According to national code, a two-stage regulator must be used on RV's. A two-stage regulator greatly reduces the possibility of freeze-ups. Also, since the second stage regulator receives a relatively uniform pressure from the first stage regulator, this helps the second stage regulator to maintain appliance pressure at a nearly constant 11" W.C.

Note: The regulator is the heart of the LP gas system. Care should be taken to protect it from the elements which could cause it to malfunction. Your LP gas system should be kept free of moisture which could cause regulator freeze-up. A good regulator cover will protect your regulator.

Warning: Your LP gas system should be tested before use by a trained and certified LP gas technician.

    The regulator was easy to install and works! The regulator that came with the stove I bought could not handle the actual flow from the tank.

    We love the look and superior functionality of this flooring in our transit van. The floor is much warmer than the vinyl we had in our other van which is a plus in the morning. We were worried about the red dust from Moab that is always a hassle to clean up when you get home but it all came right out with a vacuum. As for any stains happening while on the road (dropped white sunscreen, peanut butter, mayo, etc) they all clean up instantly when you add water to the spot, brush it out and wipe it up. I would recommend watching a video on how to clean stains on 2tec2 flooring. We accidentally spilled a liter of water on the floor - no problem - we just used the brush to push it all together, wiped with a cloth and it was dry almost instantly. I highly recommend this flooring.

    The power kit is not installed yet. But I want to say that Holly at Campervan HQ Support was FANTASTIC in helping me with an issue. Ecoflow sent me one of the components directly and they did not get it right. Holly quickly got it straightened out.

    I used these for several van build outs and there is pros and cons. The pros more speeds, better in rain and rainy hot locations! But the older simple fans pull more air. So you make a compromise between more air flow and or no air flow if it comes down hard.

    The window fit perfectly in my van, plenty of coverage with the trim. Used a jigsaw and was smooth. Did need to cut the trim down in length so it would fit property in the groove of the window.
