The hitch replaces the stock front steel bumper hidden under the plastic bumper cover, and it strengthens the chassis and provides further protectionĀ to the thin factory steel bumper. Constructed from 3/16" steel plate and 1/4" thick square tube, this solid hitch is also powder coated black, giving it a very durable finish.Ā Ā 

This Van Compass 2014+ Ram ProMaster Front Receiver HitchĀ retains the front license plate in the original location and is a bolt on installation with no drilling required.
