The VWD Awning Bunk Window(AWN4015C) is a tilt-out van bunk window that allows excellent ventilation for your camper van.

This bunk window is an easy-to-install flat awning crank-out window that features a removable screen and measures 41-1/4" long and 16-3/8" tall. The window is crafted with solar privacy glass and features an upgraded 3M UV coated Foam seal for increased longevity and a more reliable weather-tight seal compared to competitive models.

The awning tilts out 3", allowing air to flow through the massive 41-1/4" x 16-3/8" opening enabling some of the best ventilation for a bunk window. Best of all, you can even keep it open while it's raining!

When mounting these windows in your van or camper:

If you can, cut the openings with a center-blade shear, rather than a jigsaw - this will cut an opening that may be less ragged, produce less debris, and produce less hammering on the sheet metal of the van.
Make sure you paint the cut edges of the new window opening - if you skip this step, moisture can rust out the edges of the window mounting.
These windows are designed to clamp onto the sheet metal body of the vehicle, they do not require any spacers. It cannot clamp to anything larger than 1/8".
It is recommended to let the self-tapping screws do their job and bore their own hole. However, pre-drilling with a 1/16" metal drill bit helps get them started and you won't risk damaging the window or screw. In previous install scenarios, pre-drilling and getting the screw started with a drill makes it faster. Finish tightening the screws with a handheld screwdriver to avoid stripping out the hole.

This is a clamp-in van window. Clamp-in windows do not require primer or urethane adhesive because they seal against the van body with weatherstripping, an exterior compression ring, foam gasket tape where specified, or an interior trim ring. You still need an existing opening, so cargo vans without windows require the correct cutout before installation.

Do Campervan HQ van windows ship for free?

Most van windows do not ship free because large windows often require truck freight or special handling. When available, warehouse pickup can reduce or refund shipping costs. For large multi-item orders, contact Campervan HQ for an individual quote.

What should I check when a van window is delivered?

Inspect the window shipment before the delivery driver leaves. If there is damage, have the driver note it on the Bill of Lading and provide a signed copy. Without signed damage notation at delivery, Campervan HQ may not be able to make a shipping damage claim.

What is the return process for damaged or defective van windows?

For delivery damage, Campervan HQ needs a signed Bill of Lading showing the damage and photos of the damage. For a defective van window, Campervan HQ needs photos of the defect and will request a Return Authorization. In either case, re-package the window in the original box and tape the invoice number or return authorization number to the outside of the box.
