The Van Compass 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter 4X4 3500 - Stage 3 Opti-Rate Dually System is built to deliver superior handling, stability, and ride comfort for adventure vans, heavy Class B and C RVs, and passenger vans operating at or near GVWR. This system corrects rear sag, tightens up loose handling, and dramatically improves performance over any terrain.

At the core of the Stage 3 system are VC-tuned Falcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks, installed at all four corners. Featuring high-quality construction and larger, more effective damper pistons, these shocks reduce corner lean, violent sway, and absorb rough impacts. Whether you’re tackling rough city streets, broken pavement, or rugged trails, these shocks deliver a smoother, more controlled driving experience that boosts comfort and reduces driver fatigue.

The innovative Opti-Rate rear leaf spring pack is designed for flexibility across different van weights. It restores lost ride height, typically providing about 1.25" of rear lift, and corrects sag caused by heavy build-outs or conversions. Maintaining factory wheel positioning and suspension geometry, the Opti-Rate springs offer a leveled, balanced stance and improved overall stability, even under full load.

Progressive foam Bump Buddy replacement jounce bumpers are also included, replacing the factory rubber stops. These advanced bumpers improve spring curve progression, reduce sway, and increase bottom-out resistance without harshness or clunking, ensuring a smoother, quieter ride.

NOTE: Vans equipped with HD Rear AC Package require extra care when mounting front shocks, refrigerant lines may need to be slightly bent and re-secured.

NOTE: NOT compatible with Sumo Spring Rebel series of springs, specifically Sumo Spring part numbers: SSR-327-47-2 and SSR-327-40-2 There is a Sumo Spring bracket associated with those kits which makes contact with the shock body.
