VWD Universal Vertical Lift Slider Window (VERT1522) is a clamp-in slider window for campervan and RV walls. The lower panel slides up to open, giving adjustable airflow, and weep holes in the frame let water drain out of the track in heavy rain or when washing the vehicle.
It fits most modern campervans and RVs where space allows, including 2007+ Mercedes Sprinter, 2015+ Ford Transit and 2014+ Ram ProMaster cargo vans. Flat walls are recommended.
Key Features: VWD Universal Vertical Lift Slider Window (VERT1522)
A black powder-coated aluminum frame holds the dark solar privacy glass.
- Two lock positions hold the lower panel open at set heights: 335 mm x 100 mm or 335 mm x 190 mm
- Solar privacy glass with a 17% UV rating filters out 83% of UV rays
- Black powder-coated aluminum frame
- Clamp ring install for walls up to 1/8 in. thick
- Foam seal, screw pack and cut-out template included
- Made in China with a 1-year manufacturer warranty
Note: On a campervan or Class B cargo van, install on the rear doors or the flattest part of the side panels, since most modern Class B cargo van bodies have some curvature. It is not recommended for the 78" radius walls of older US-made GM, Chevrolet and Ford vans. For those models, see the VWD Universal Split-Awning Bunk Window - 33.94" x 19.41" O.D. (AW3218S).

Do Campervan HQ van windows come with instructions?
Most van windows are sold for DIY van builders and may not include manufacturer instructions because many manufacturers assume installation by someone familiar with van window installation. Check the Campervan HQ van window installation blog for guidance. For CR Laurence van windows, you can also search YouTube for CR Laurence window install videos.
Do van windows require adhesive and primer?
This is a clamp-in van window. Clamp-in windows do not require primer or urethane adhesive because they seal against the van body with weatherstripping, an exterior compression ring, foam gasket tape where specified, or an interior trim ring. You still need an existing opening, so cargo vans without windows require the correct cutout before installation.
Do Campervan HQ van windows ship for free?
Most van windows do not ship free because large windows often require truck freight or special handling. When available, warehouse pickup can reduce or refund shipping costs. For large multi-item orders, contact Campervan HQ for an individual quote.
What should I check when a van window is delivered?
Inspect the window shipment before the delivery driver leaves. If there is damage, have the driver note it on the Bill of Lading and provide a signed copy. Without signed damage notation at delivery, Campervan HQ may not be able to make a shipping damage claim.
What is the return process for damaged or defective van windows?
For delivery damage, Campervan HQ needs a signed Bill of Lading showing the damage and photos of the damage. For a defective van window, Campervan HQ needs photos of the defect and will request a Return Authorization. In either case, re-package the window in the original box and tape the invoice number or return authorization number to the outside of the box.
